KOTA: An entrance coaching student has committed suicide in Rajasthan. Recently, student suicides have been increasing in the state.

This is the fourth suicide this month and the 22nd this year. Vatmiki Jangid, an eighteen-year-old from Gaya in Bihar, committed suicide. Jangid is a student at the coaching centre for the JEE exam for Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) admission.

Jangid was living in Mahavir Nagar in Kota since last year. The police said that the cause of suicide is not yet clear. The state government has announced several measures including a helpline to improve the mental health of students in Kota.
