KANNUR: The KSRTC Budget Tourism Cell is offering an array of tour packages from Kannur in celebration of Onam. They are presenting an enticing family trip to Munnar, Gavi and Ranipuram at highly affordable rates.

The journey from Vagamon to Munnar stands out as the most alluring of the options. The departure will be from Kannur at 7 pm on the 25th and 30th of this month. The arrival in Vagamon will be on the following day. There will be an off-road jeep safari and sightseeing by bus. Afterward, there will be a return to the hotel around 6 pm, followed by a campfire. On the subsequent morning, the journey to Munnar will commence. The itinerary includes visits to Chathurangappara View Point, Anayarangal Dam, Malai Kallan Cave, Orange Garden and Gap Road View Point. The return to Kannur is scheduled for 6 am the following day.

The excursion to Gavi is planned for August 30th. Departure from Kannur will be at 5 pm reaching Kumali on the second day. From there, a jeep ride to Kambam is scheduled. The activities encompass visits to a vineyard, vegetable garden, penstock pipeline, and viewpoints. An evening bus will transport participants to Ramakalmed, where they will stay at a hotel in Kumali. The package encompasses meals and boating in Gavi on the second day. The return to Kannur is slated for 6 am the next day.

On the 27th, the tour to Ranipuram Hill Station is set to begin at 6 am. The itinerary includes visits to Bekal Kota, Bekal Beach and Park. The return to Kannur is expected at 9 pm.

The package encompassing three prominent destinations in the Vellachattam district—Paithalmala, Palakkayam Thatt and Ejarakkund—will commence at 6:30 am. The return is projected for 9 pm.

The Wayanad package will start at 6 am and conclude at 10:30 pm. The destinations covered include Tusharagiri Waterfall, Nur Tribal Heritage Village, Pookod Lake, Lakidi View Point, Honey Museum and Chain Tree.
