THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With the arrival of all the subsidized goods to Supplyco in all the districts, Onam markets will be started from today.

670 can be saved by the beneficiary on buying only subsidized goods from Supplyco 'Onam Chanthas'. This will cost Rs 1,348 in the general market.

Out of 13 types of subsidized goods, 4 types are rice. The maximum quantity that can be purchased for Jaya, Kuruva, Matta and raw rice is 10 kg. Allowed quantity for chillies and coriander will be 500 grams each and coconut oil will be half a liter and the rest will be 1 kg each. Apart from this, there are offers for all non-subsidized products. There are supermarket-style offers including buy one get one free.
