RANCHI: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate. The summons has come in connection with the 1200 crore money laundering case.

He had previously avoided the case saying that the allegations levelled against him were undemocratic. Hemant had been questioned in the case last year as well. The Chief Minister and the opposition leaders had already argued that the central agencies were targeting them. He has been directed to appear on the 24th of this month. Hemant Soren has not yet responded on the matter.
