KASARAGOD: Kasaragod MP Rajmohan Unnithan blamed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for getting angry in online meetings and pointed this to the absence of MPs from not collaborating in such meetings.
“The finance minister’s statement is hogwash. I requested a meeting with CM but was denied permission. Not all MPs are interested in participating in online meetings as CM Pinarayi Vijayan always loses his cool while engaging in talks” Rajmohan Unnithan opined.
CM never promised any meeting with the union minister. Elamaram Karim said that some issues should be discussed together, but nothing productive happened. Finance Minister is making a deliberate move to insult UDF MPs. I just want to ask from where did the finance minister get all this information?”
State Finance Minister KN Balagopal in a press conference yesterday criticized that the UDF MPs did not join the Government in complaining about the centre reducing the state's borrowing limit. He also said the MPs have cheated the people of Kerala and reprimanded them for not helping the state come out of the economic woes.
Meanwhile, the opposition lashed attack at the LDF government and accused the government of taking huge loans from the central government and indulging in wasteful spending of money.
