NEW DELHI: Shiv Sena Uddhav wing MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has made a bold prediction that if Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi contests in Varanasi against PM Modi, she will win.

"The alliance will work to make her (Priyanka Gandhi) win, if she chooses to contest and the Opposition agrees upon it," Chaturvedi said.

"INDIA bloc is at the forefront. The alliance will discuss who is best in each seat. Priyanka Gandhi will win Lok Sabha elections if she contests from Varanasi constituency. Inflation, unemployment, farmers' woes and violence against women are all on the rise in the country. People are seeing all this and they will ask questions", she said.

Priyanka Chaturvedi stated that NCP President Sharad Pawar will never join hands with BJP and INDIA bloc will remain with the alliance.
