WASHINGTON: A new report has come that an Indian origin will play a crucial role in the US presidential polls. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Indian-American businessman Vivek Ramaswamy is at the second place. Reports said former President Donald Trump will come in first place with a lead of 56 %.
The survey said most of those who said that Ramaswamy will come second will vote for him. However, only a third of those who said DeSantis would finish second said they would vote for him. Meantime, 80 percent of those who said Trump would reach first would vote for him.
Vivek Ramaswamy is an entrepreneur from a Malayalee family having roots in Palakkad. Billionaire Elon Musk had earlier declared his support for the Indian-origin Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy in the US presidential election. Vivek's father Ramaswamy hails from Palakkad and mother Geetha from Tripunithura. They migrated to the US.
