ALUVA: Two women were killed after being hit by a speeding pickup van while they were crossing the road in Athani Monday morning at 7 am. The two identified as Mariam and Sheeba, employees of Camco, were hit by the over speeding van while they were crossing the road. The two died on the spot itself.

The Nedumbassery police reached the spot and took the bodies to Angamaly Taluk Hospital. The bodies will be shifted to Kalamassery Medical College for postmortem.
