KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Tuesday issued an order directing to stop the ongoing construction works of CPM offices in Idukki district. The High Court directed the District Collector to stop the construction of CPM offices in Santhanpara, Udumbanchola, and Bison Valley.

The court stated that the collector can seek the help of the police to stop the construction. The direction was made by the bench considering Munnar cases. Earlier, Opposition Leader V D Satheesan had alleged that the CPM was constructing its area committee office in Santhanpara by violating the law. He also demanded that the building should be demolished.
