HYDERABAD: A fifteen-year-old girl was gang-raped after being threatened with a knife. The shocking incident took place in Hyderabad's Nandanavanam Colony on Sunday morning. The incident came to light after the girl filed a complaint with the police on Monday.

According to the complaint, a gang of three reached the victim's house in a drunken state around 9:30 am on the day of the incident and threatened the victim's brother and others with a knife.The police registered a case under the POCSO Act and sent the victim for medical examination.

Rachakonda Deputy Commissioner of police B Sai Sri said that a seven-member police team has been formed to trace the absconding accused and the suspects are being taken into custody and are being interrogated.
