NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India is slowly on its way to becoming a major economic superpower by the next decade. PM Modi was speaking at the inaugural event of the BRICS summit in South Africa’s Johannesburg on Tuesday.
In his ten minutes long monologue, Modi glittered words of praise on the effective reforms his government brought in India during the last 9 years.PM Modi in a tone of surety said India will soon become a $5 trillion economy.
Chinese President Xi Jinping's statement was raised at the BRICS summit by Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi. Yi in his statement said no one can stop China in its forward run to become to topmost global power in the world.
