KOTTAYAM: A complaint was filed against Sathiyamma for alleging that she was sacked from work for praising former chief minister Oommen Chandy. The complaint was lodged by her neighbour Liji Mol alleging that she got the job by forging document.

Liji Mol said that she has no health issues and has not signed any documents. She also clarified that she is not a member of ‘Aishwarya Kudumbashree’. Liji Mol added that she came to know that Sathiyamma worked on her behalf and received salary through the social media.

Liji Mol held a press meet along with CPM state committee member Anil Kumar. P O Sathiyamma was working as a sweeper at Kaitheppalam Veterinary Hospital in Puthupally. She alleged that she was terminated for praising Chandy to a TV channel. Opposition leader V D Satheesan and Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan MLA visited her house and extended support.
