KARUVARAKUNDU: The five accused who were arrested in the incident of killing Mankuth Sujitha (35), a temporary employee of Tuvvur Krishi Bhavan and burying her in the backyard, will be taken into custody by the police today for evidence collection. It is hinted that the prime accused Vishnu, who leads a luxurious life, took advantage of their friendship and took Sujitha's entire savings into his possession earlier. Then the plan was to leave the hometown. Police are of the opinion that the accused need to be questioned in detail as more facts behind the incident need to be revealed.

It needs to be clarified whether Sujita's gold jewellery was the only aim of the murder. Youth Congress leader Vishnu along with two brothers and a friend killed Sujitha and buried her. Sujitha came to the house as instructed by Vishnu and entered through the back door. The reason why Sujitha went alone to Vishnu's house, whether there are any other issues apart from financial transactions, and the situation involving Vishnu's brothers in the murder are mainly to be investigated. Krishi Bhavan's office was also adjacent to the panchayat office where Vishnu worked. Vishnu had resigned from his temporary job at Tuvvur panchayat even before Sunitha went missing. It was said that he got a job in ISRO.
