KOTTAYAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday emphasized the development policy of LDF in Puthupally. Speaking at the campaign event of LDF candidate Jaick C Thomas, he said that Puthupally is the center of attention of the state. He also clarified that the Puthuppally by-election is an election that will bring clarity to many matters.
"The issues here will be considered in the by-elections. Development here should be compared with the development in other areas. Everyone knows the situation of the constituency. Compared to other constituencies, development has not reached Puthuppally. However, the schools in Puthuppally have progressed as part of the public education scheme. All-round development is the policy of LDF'- the Chief Minister said.
"The UDF government of 2011 did nothing for the development of national highways. The National Highway is currently under construction in a heartwarming way. Had the LDF government not come to power, the condition of the national highway would have remained the same," he added.
