PATNA: India recently created history by touching the south pole of the moon which has not been touched by anyone till now. It was a great achievement born out of the hard work of thousands of scientists at ISRO. However, RJD leader and Bihar minister has now claimed that the success of Chandrayaan-3 was the blessing of Chandra Dev. Speaking to the media, he also extended wishes to all the scientists who were part of the project.
Chandrayaan-3 scripted history on Wednesday as India became only the fourth nation to achieve a soft landing on the lunar surface after the US, China and the erstwhile Soviet Union. India also became the only country to make a successful landing on the south pole of the moon.
Chandrayaan-3 reached the doorstep of the moon after covering hundreds of thousands of kilometres in its 40-day-long journey. The Vikram lander began its historic mission at 5.45 pm Indian time. At 6.04 pm, the lander began its slow descent on the south pole of the moon.
