MUMBAI: Team India requires players to pass a mandatory fitness test. BCCI has verbally instructed each player to keep their score for passing the yo-yo test confidential. BCCI has verbally reprimanded Virat Kohli for violating this directive.

Kohli had posted a status on social media revealing his yo-yo test score of 17.2. BCCI's mandatory score is 16.5. BCCI has instructed the team management not to post yo-yo scores that prove fitness in public places including social media.

Currently, the Indian players are in Bengaluru for their fitness test. Along with Kohli, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya also took the fitness test and passed. Bumrah, Sanju, Prasidh Krishna and Tilak Varma who were part of the Asia Cup are yet to reach the camp.
