LUCKNOW: In a deplorable incident, a school teacher in Uttar Pradesh forced students to slap a Muslim student as part of 'punishment'. The ignominious incident happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar and the video is also viral on the internet. With the video being the topic of discussion on Twitter, the police were left with no option but to begin a probe into the matter.

"I have declared jitne bhi Mohammedan bachhe hai..." These words were spewed by the teacher while other students lined up to slap the Muslim boy. The student is seen whimpering while receiving the slaps in this disturbing video. The teacher at some point also asked the students to “hit him harder” and "hit him on the waist". The father of the victim has removed his child from the school and has reached an agreement with the school authorities. The fees for the admission will be provided by the school authorities. Minding this, the family is not moving ahead with any action against the school and teacher.

The Department of Basic Education has formed a team to probe into the matter. Meanwhile, according to the teacher, the student was falling behind in education and her comments were directed at Muslim mothers who care less about the education of their children.
