Chakala Nairs and Pandithar of Pandithaar community are also considered. Apart from this, Parkavakulam, Dasa sects and Elavaniyar sect may be included.

The government has also decided to provide educational benefits to the Christian Nadar community in the OBC category. The Cabinet meeting to be held after the Puthupally by-election may consider the matter.
