PERUMBAVOOR: It seems there is no end to truck menace on roads. In the latest, a woman doctor was crushed to death after being run over by a tipper lorry in Perumbavoor. The incident took place near the Vallom MC Road area at 9 am on Saturday. The deceased is Dr Christy Jose, Medical Officer of Okkal Government Ayurveda Hospital.

Christy’s father suffered serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to Sanjo Hospital in Perumbavoor. The tipper came from the back and crashed into the scooter, throwing Christy and her father to the road. Christy is unmarried.
