NEW DELHI: A case has been registered against the teacher in the case of classmates being made to slap the school student on the face in UP. Muzaffarnagar police registered a case on the complaint of the child's father. A seven-year-old boy was assaulted. According to the complaint, the child was beaten for an hour. In addition, the National Child Rights Commission has also come forward by directing an investigation into the incident.
The shocking incident took place in a school in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. The police came to know about the incident when the footage of the incident went viral on social media. In the video, the teacher asks the children to hit the student repeatedly and tells them to hit the boy on the hip.
At the same time, the teacher Tripta Tyagi clarified that her action was not of a communal nature and that she asked the boy's classmates to slap the child because he did not memorize the multiplication table. "The child's parents have told me to be strict with him. I am disabled. That's why I told the other students to slap him,' said the teacher.
She also claimed that the video was edited. 'The boy's relative was sitting in the class. The video was recorded by him. Later it was twisted.' Tyagi said.
