THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Those planning to travel during the Onam holidays can have peace of mind as police have introduced a useful feature in the Pol-App. After sharing the information through the app, the police will conduct special surveillance in the area where the house is located.

After downloading and installing the app, you can use the 'Locked House Information' facility in the Services section. The day of departure, the area where the house is located, the name of the house, the name of the relatives or neighbours, and the phone number must be entered in the app. The information can be shared up to seven days in advance. The house and surroundings will be under police surveillance for a maximum of 14 days.
