NEW DELHI: Haryana is on high alert in the wake of the VHP's procession in Nuh. The procession will start at 11 a.m. today from the Shiva temple in Nuh. It has been informed that various Hindu organizations will also cooperate in the yatra. On July 31, after stones were pelted at the procession, there was a clash between the two groups in which 6 people were killed. An injunction has been issued as a precautionary measure. Internet service was blocked two days ago. The organizers informed that the procession will be held even though the district administration has denied permission.

Holidays have been declared for educational institutions and government offices as a precaution. Police deployment has also increased. The move is to seek the help of the army if necessary. The Sherpa meeting being held in Haryana as part of the G20 summit has also been a reason for the travel ban. But the Vishva Hindu Parishad clarified that the procession connecting the temples will be held at 11 a.m. as previously scheduled. Organizations like Bajrang Dal and Gau Raksha Dal will also participate in the yatra.
