ALUVA: A search has started for the accused in the incident where 4.5 kg of ganja was found in the general compartment of Lokmanya Tilak - Thiruvananthapuram Netravati Express train which reached Aluva railway station. The ganja was found during the inspection conducted by the Excise team following a tip-off. The accused escaped through the door on the other side after knowing that the investigation team had boarded the train.
Ganja was hidden under the seat in the general compartment behind the train which reached platform number 1 at 2.15 pm on Saturday. Netravati has a stop here for only three minutes. The inspection was led by Aluva Range Inspector M Suresh and RPF Asst Sub-Inspector V A George.
