NEW DELHI: ISRO has released the latest images captured by Pragyan rover from the moon. The footage was captured by the rover while continuing its lunar exploration as part of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Meanwhile, the rover while on its exploration on the moon, encountered a 4-meter diameter crater, after which ISRO rerouted the rover to safely follow a new path.
ISRO also informed that the movement of the rover is currently on a safe path. Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander made a soft landing on the moon at 6:04 p.m. on August 23.

On August 27, 2023, the Rover came across a 4-meter diameter crater positioned 3 meters ahead of its location.
The Rover was commanded to retrace the path.
