NEYYATTINKARA: Mother who was a scooter passenger died after a bus hit the scooter. Her daughter who was with her was seriously injured. Mahalakshmi (39), wife of Sajay Narayanan from Karyavattom Madathil house is the one who died. Their daughter Anjima (18) is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. The accident took place at Neyyattinkara Pathamkallu at around 7:30 pm on Saturday. While overtaking the scooter Mahalakshmi was travelling on, the bus hit the scooter. Both were admitted to a nearby private hospital following the accident, but Mahalakshmi died yesterday morning. Funeral rites were performed. The accident happened when she was returning from Neyyatinkara for work-related purposes. She has another daughter, Dhyanalakshmi.
