KOZHIKODE: Former national handball player Gypsy Joseph (52) collapsed and died during Onam celebrations. She collapsed during the musical chair competition which was held as part of the Onam celebrations on Sunday afternoon at the Holy Redeemer Church in Merikunnu. She was an administrative assistant in the Malappuram district agriculture department office.

Husband: Joseph Riballo (Retd. Malappuram District Social Justice Officer) Children: Aaron (UK) and Aurelia. Funeral today at 11 a.m. after a prayer service at the house at Holy Redeemer Church, Merikkunnu.
