KOTTAYAM: A man committed suicide after hacking his wife. The dead is Padma Kumar of Velloor in Thalayolaparambu. He hacked his wife Thulasi last night. His body was found when a probe was on in connection with the incident.

His body was found near the railway track at Olipuram in Mulanthuruthy. Police reached the spot and started an investigation. Thulasi is undergoing treatment in a hospital in Ernakulam.
