NEW DELHI: The super blue moon that the world is eagerly waiting for is only a few hours away. A supermoon is visible when the moon's orbit is closest to Earth. This makes the full moon appear larger and brighter than usual. A blue moon is a full moon that comes after four full moons.

The second supermoon of this month will begin in India at 9.30 pm tonight. It is reported that it can be seen till 6.46 am tomorrow. According to data provided by NASA, the next Super Blue Moon will occur only after 14 years. The next Super Blue Moon will be in January 2037 and again in March. Saturn will be seen in the sky tomorrow along with the Blue Moon. It is reported that Saturn can be seen with naked eyes. It is also the first supermoon phenomenon since India's Chandrayaan mission reached its destination.
