NEW DELHI: The third meeting of the opposition bloc 'India' will be held in Mumbai today. Sonia Gandhi will attend today's meeting. With Lok Sabha elections just months away, the main agenda of the meeting is seat sharing in the states.
The India Front hopes that the third meeting will overcome the differences of opinion and confusion among the opposition parties. If the Aam Aadmi Party also claims the post of Prime Minister, the opposition discussion will be in crisis. If there is an agreement on the division of seats in states including Delhi, there may be a solution to the dispute between several parties. The Maha Vikas Aghadi Alliance is responsible for organizing the third meeting in Mumbai. The release of the 'India' front logo, which upholds the unity and integrity of the country, is also the main agenda of the third meeting. Discussions to find the convener of the India Front will be held today and tomorrow in the meeting.
The opposition parties will take the final decision regarding the post of convener after considering the health condition of Sonia Gandhi and the work done by Nitish Kumar. Meanwhile, the BJP is anxiously watching which parties from the North-Eastern states will attend the meeting. The BJP is trying hard to get its former allies back to the front ahead of the Lok Sabha elections
