NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court registry has issued a warning that a fake website is operating in the name of the Supreme Court. The court has warned that the fake website is used for fraud by stealing people's personal and confidential information.
Personal information such as Aadhaar card and PAN card details are collected when entering the fake website that looks like the official website. It has been said in the warning of the Supreme Court Registry that these are later used for fraud.
The Registrar (Technology) has complained to the police to trace the people behind this fake website. The fake websites are located at URLs http://cbins/scigv.com and https://cbins.scigv.com/offence.
