THIRUVALLA: A 60-year-old man who sexually assaulted a young woman during Onam celebrations has been arrested. Police arrested P K Sabu from his home in Parumala, Plamoodu.

According to the complaint, Sabu, who was under the influence of alcohol, assaulted the young woman during the Onam celebrations near Parumala St. Gregorio's Hospital. Organizers came to know about it when the young woman made noise. They detained Sabu and informed the police. Sabu, an accused in four criminal cases was produced in court and remanded.
