MUMBAI: The history of the BJP is being included in the university curriculum in the fourth semester of MA at Nagpur University. Notably, the history of the Communist Party has been excluded. Ram Janmabhoomi will also be a subject of study.

It is reported that the communist party will be included in the history of local parties instead of the history of national parties. Meanwhile, the Congress said that BJP's history is not worth reading or writing. But the BJP retorted that the country comes first in the history of the BJP and not the history of the Congress.

The History Department of Nagpur University approved the proposal to include the history of the BJP. In 2019, the history of RSS was included in the BA syllabus. The lesson covers the activities of the Jaan Sangh, BJP, party formation and how the party can form a stable government. But this course is optional for students.
