IMPHAL: Six more people were killed in the violence that resumed on Tuesday in Manipur. 18 people, including two security personnel, were injured. It is reported that the six people who were killed belonged to the Kuki community. With this, the number of people who were killed in violence in the last three days has increased to eight.

It is reported that people, including journalists, are stranded in the conflict zones. Firing continues in the valleys of Khoirentak in Bishnupur district and Chingphei and Khousabung areas in Churachandpur district. More security personnel have been deployed in these areas. Lyricist LS Mangboi Lhungdim (42) and Hemkolun Gyuethe (36) of the Village Defense Force, who were injured in the firing on Wednesday evening, also died. Both of them belong to the Kuki community.
