THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An incident occurred in Netajipuram, Pothancode, where a group of assailants attacked a house. During the altercation, the landlord injured Nahas' hand. Approximately thirty individuals were part of this group with Vinesh and his friend Shyam being accused of leading them. Tragically, during the altercation a woman lost her life as her throat was slit.

It's worth noting that Nahas' friend had previously been assaulted by this group a week earlier, although this was not reported to the police. Tensions had escalated between the two groups, leading to the incident at Netajipuram junction where around 30 people injured Nahas' hand. Subsequently, the gang vandalized a scooter in the backyard of the house.

Nahas was admitted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital and underwent surgery to treat his injuries. The Pothancode police have now intensified their investigation into this incident.
