THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The monsoon that ends this month is predicted to be less in the days to come. Some areas may experience isolated heavy rains. The rest of the monsoon is supposed to be received in the first two weeks of September. August may get rainy. Rains are intensifying in northern districts. The hilly areas of the south-central districts will also receive average rainfall.
