THRISSUR: Actor and former MP Suresh Gopi lashed out at the state government for not inviting Union Minister V Muraleedharan to the inauguration of the skywalk in Sakthan Nagar, Thrissur. Suresh Gopi said that ignoring the union minister in the name of any politics was a disgusting way of thinking. Suresh Gopi asked what was wrong with the people knowing that the skywalk was built with central funds at a time when kits were provided after pasting pictures on them. Suresh Gopi was responding to the media while visiting the skywalk.

"They should have invited Union Minister V Muraleedharan to the inaugural ceremony. This is not a request, but a requirement. They can still correct it. They should do it. Ignoring one in the name of politics is a disgusting way of thinking and action. Let the people know all this. Why are they worrying about it," Suresh Gopi said.
