KOTTAYAM: Minister V N Vasavan has responded to an insult directed at the Chief Minister by referring to him as a 'buffalo'. The Minister clarified that it was K Sudhakaran who made the derogatory remark and he expressed disagreement with the comment made by the KPCC president.

The Chief Minister has addressed the issues that require attention in response. Vasavan stated that it's merely a wishful thinking that the UDF will secure a majority of over half a lakh vote in Puthupally.

During a press conference held in Kottayam, K Sudhakaran made a controversial statement about the Chief Minister, describing him as someone who talks without substance, rather than using derogatory terms.

‘The Chief Minister came to Puthupally for campaigning which reflects a lack of shame on his part. He wouldn't have come if he had any sense of shame. There's a significant level of public discontent with the government and this anti-government sentiment will be evident in Puthupally. Dissatisfaction has also begun within the CPM itself,’ Sudhakaran stated during the press conference.

Sudhakaran further mentioned that, after analysing the high level of personal attacks in Puthupally, he believes the people will elect Chandy Oommen with a historically large majority in the by-elections.
