THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There are indications that there will be rain in various districts of the state in the coming hours. According to the Central Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of moderate rain at isolated places in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam districts, and light rain in other districts.

Meanwhile, according to the Central Meteorological Department's warning, two districts in the state are on a yellow alert today, Alappuzha and Ernakulam. Here are the indications in various districts for the coming days:

September 5, 2023: Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki

September 6, 2023: Ernakulam, Idukki

September 7, 2023: A yellow alert has been announced in Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kannur districts. There is a chance of isolated heavy rain forecasted. Heavy rains are defined as rainfall ranging from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm in 24 hours.
