GURUVAYUR: K V Rajesh Acharya (54) of Thrissur is all set to dedicate a golden crown to Guruvayoorappan as a birthday gift on Ashtamirohini day. Rajesh, son of Kainoor Venugopala and Devaki, lives in Coimbatore.

He is presenting a gold crown weighing 38 sovereigns to Guruvayurappan. The crown will be presented to Guruvayurappan on Ashtamirohini day. The items received as offerings will be adorned to the Lord on that day and then recorded in the register of the Devaswom and will later be transferred to the locker.

Rajesh told a media that he is dedicating the crown as part of his 14-year-long wish. He has been working in the field of jeweler manufacturing in Coimbatore for almost four decades. The crown, made entirely of gold, has no stones or pearls in it.
