MUMBAI: A 24-year-old flight attendant was found dead in her apartment in Mumbai. Her body was found with her throat slit leading the Mumbai police to register a murder case. The victim, Rupal Ogri hails from Chhattisgarh. This incident occurred on Sunday night at a flat located in NG Complex, Marol area, Krishanlal Marwa Marg, Andheri. Rupal had arrived in Mumbai for Air India training in April of the previous year. She was residing in the flat with her sister.

Upon investigation, the police found that the sister's male friend had also been residing in the same flat. They had left the flat eight days prior to the incident. When the police became aware of the murder, they attempted to contact both but there was no response from Carl, the male friend. Concerned relatives made several attempts to reach Rupal but received no response. Subsequently, the relatives contacted Rupal's friends in Mumbai and requested them to check on the flat.

However, upon their arrival, they found the flat locked from the inside with no response after ringing the bell. Consequently, they promptly informed the police. After the police arrived and gained access to the flat using a duplicate key, they discovered the woman with her throat slit. She was immediately taken to Rajawadi Hospital, where doctors confirmed her death. The police have registered a case and the investigation is currently ongoing.
