THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSRTC surpasses the record revenue received in the last Sabarimala season. KSRTC made 8.79 crores on Monday, the first working day after Onam. It had collected 8.48 crores on January 16 during the Sabarimala season, which was the highest grosser before this. For five days from August 26 to September 4, the collection was over seven crores. The total revenue for these days is Rs 70.97 crore.

KSRTC MD said that he appreciates the employees who have worked to create record collection for the corporation. He said that this income is the result of the management and employees working together. Biju Prabhakar said that the goal is to achieve a daily income of nine crore rupees by putting more buses on the road, but the time delay for the process is causing an obstacle to this.
