THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A man killed his younger brother and buried his body behind their house. The incident happened at Thiruvallam. The dead has been identified as Raj (36). Raj’s elder brother Binu (45) of Vandithadam has been taken into custody in connection with the incident. The police are questioning him.

Raj’s mother had gone to her relative’s house during Onam time. She found her son missing when she returned and then lodged a complaint at the Thiruvallam police station. The role of Binu was suspected following an investigation on the complaint. When Binu was interrogated, he confessed to have killed his brother. The body was found in a search conducted. The police are taking further steps.

Binu told police that he killed Raj amidst a dispute that broke out over liquor.

Only the two brothers were at home when their mother went to her relative’s house. At the end of the dispute, the accused hit him on his head and killed him. The police said Raj has some mental illness.
