THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With the weakening of the low pressure that formed in the Bay of Bengal last day, the condition of rain in the state has reduced. However, there is a possibility of strong winds and bad weather along the Kerala coast. Yesterday's weak low pressure remained as a cyclone over the south Odisha coast. Isolated and occasional heavy rains are likely for five days. The central north districts receive more rainfall than the southern districts.
Yellow alert has been announced in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam and Thrissur districts today.
