KOCHI: Malayalam cinema's megastar Mammootty turned 72 today. But the actor's birthday will be without any celebrations and he will spend the day with his family members at his home in Kadavanthra. His mother Fathima Ismail passed away four months ago.

Mammootty is currently acting in the film 'Bramayugam', which is being shot in Kochi.
