KOCHI: The visuals of the accused who kidnapped and sexually abused an eight-year-old girl, daughter of a migrant worker in Aluva, have surfaced. ‘Opened the window and looked out hearing a child crying early morning. Saw a man walking with the child in the light of the street light. The child stopped crying when he raised his hand to beat her. He was a bearded man in pants and shirt. On suspicion, got out with my wife after switching on all the lights and took a stick and a torch also. Woke up all the people in the neighboring house. Searched the entire area, but could not trace the child,’ said eyewitness Sukumaran.
'When we were standing without knowing what to do next, saw a child running towards us. She was fully naked and blood was oozing from her back. Dropped her home as per her instructions. When we went there, her family did not know about this. They opened the door when we knocked. Don't know how he took her from the house,’ the witness clarified.
The police concluded that the girl who was sleeping with her parents was abducted and sexually abused. She was later found in the field. Police informed that the victim and the eyewitness have identified the picture of the accused. A massive search is in progress for the suspect.
