AMARAVATI: A Hindu organization has announced a reward of 10 lakh rupees for those who confront Udayanidhi Stalin who recently stirred controversy with his remarks related to Sanatana Dharma. The poster in question was posted by the Jana Jagarana Samiti, a Hindu organization based in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The committee displayed these posters at the railway station, bus stand and Mahatma Gandhi Road.
In response, the Madurai police have registered a case against Ayodhya monk Paramahams Acharya who had threatened to offer a reward of 10 crores to anyone who would harm Udayanidhi. The case was initiated based on a complaint filed by the DMK legal department. Simultaneously, a case has been registered against Udayanidhi in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly offending religious sentiments. Udayanidhi himself responded stating that he is prepared to face any legal action regarding his reference to Sanatana Dharma. The controversial speech was delivered by Tamil Nadu minister Udayanidhi Stalin at an event held last Saturday.
