NEW DELHI: All arrangements for the G20 summit to be held on Saturday and Sunday at the main venue of Pragati Maidan, Bharat Mandapam, have been completed. The officials have made many preparations as the leaders of many countries are coming to India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated the 27-feet tall Nataraja idol at the entrance. Also, food is served in silver and gold plated dishes to showcase the country's culture and heritage in front of the world leaders.

15,000 vessels decorated with carvings have been prepared for this. Most of the vessels are plated with silver and gold. The vessels were manufactured by a Jaipur-based metal ware firm.


Meantime, businessmen have also been invited to the dinner hosted by President Draupadi Murmu on Saturday for world leaders. Reliance chief Mukesh Ambani, Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani, Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran and Bharti Airtel founder chairman Sunil Mittal were invited.

Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman, French President Emmanuel Macron, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and others are coming to the banquet. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also attend. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina may also come. The president had invited both of them.
