THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of moderate rainfall in the state for the next five days. The Meteorological Center also informs that there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places from September 10 to 11.

The cyclonic circulation is located over northwest Madhya Pradesh and northeast Rajasthan. The Meteorological Center has warned that a new cyclonic circulation is likely to form in the northwest Bay of Bengal by September 12.

The Central Meteorological Department has informed that there is no hindrance to going fishing in the Kerala-Karnataka-Lakshadweep coasts.

From 10-09-2023 to 12-09-2023: Strong wind speed of 45 to 55 kmph and occasional up to 65 kmph is likely over the south Tamilnadu coast and adjoining Kanyakumari coast of the Gulf of Mannar.

10-09-2023: Strong wind speeds up to 45 to 55 kmph and at few times up to 65 kmph is possible over Sri Lanka Coast, Southwest Bay of Bengal adjoining South East and Central West Bay of Bengal.

11-09-2023: Strong wind speed of 45 to 55 kmph and occasional 65 kmph is likely over the South Sri Lanka coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal.

Gusty winds with gustiness of 40 to 45 mph at occasional up to 55 kmph and bad weather are likely over South East Bay of Bengal.

12-09-2023: Strong winds and bad weather conditions are likely over the Sri Lankan coast and South Bay of Bengal with speeds up to 40 to 45 kmph and occasionally up to 55 kmph.

13-09-2023: Chance of strong winds and bad weather over Sri Lanka coast, south Bay of Bengal adjoining central Bay of Bengal with speed up to 40 to 45 kmph and some occasions up to 55 kmph. Fishing is not allowed on the above dates and areas.
