KOZHIKDODE: Nadakkavu grade sub inspector Vinod Kumar has been suspended for attacking a couple who were travelling in a car following a dispute that broke out. The dispute broke out for not giving side to the bike. The woman attacked had complained that Vinod Kumar and his brother beat her.

A case was registered against four people. The complaint filed by Afna Abdul Nafik of Atholi said that a team consisting of three women and four children were attacked without any provocation. Disciplinary action is based on this.

A team including the sub inspector came this way in connection with a relative's marriage reception. The complaint mentioned that they were under the influence of alcohol. She also complained that they tried to attack her vehicle also.
