THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The criminal conspiracy in the solar case started from the time the complainant met the chief minister, said opposition leader V D Satheesan while speaking over the discussion on the adjournment motion in the assembly.

‘Our allegation is against the chief minister in the solar case. The complaint was written as per the instruction of the then and present Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The investigation of the case was later handed over to the CBI. The CBI in their report mentioned a criminal conspiracy. The chief minister met the complainant on the third day after assuming power in 2016. Its middleman is broker Nandakumar, who is known as a big businessman. Balakrishna Pillai already had a complaint collected by Ganesh Kumar's PA from Pathanamthitta jail. Nandakumar paid Rs 50 lakh and bought the complaint letter from the complainant. Continuous investigations were conducted following this.'

‘Initially it was a 21-page letter, it later turned to 19 pages, 25 pages was given to the channel and the complainant said there were 30 pages. However, only four pages were produced in the court. The letter was concocted for money. You are the one who paid for the forged letter. Many complained about the solar scam that day. I am congratulating the then home minister Thiruvanjoor Radhakrishnan. 33 cases were registered against these fraudsters. The complainant was punished in many of these cases,’ said V D Satheesan.
